Bavaria (Upper Franconia and Upper Palatine) were investigated. 122 species of lichens and 27 species of lichenicolous fungi were found, among them some rare species like Caloplaca grimmiae, Catillaria atomarioides, Leptogium subtile, Fuscopannaria leucophaea, and Phaeophyscia sciastra.
