An inventory of 273 lichens and allied fungi (including 19 lichenicolous and 6 non-lichenized saprobic calicioid fungi) of Žemaitija National Park (Lithuania) is presented. Geography, climate, vegetation and anthropogenic activities in the Park are described briefly. 43 taxa of lichens and lichenicolous fungi are reported from the peninsula Attica, SE part of the Greek mainland. Of these 6 are new to Greece and 24 are new to Attica. The Greek lichen flora is comparatively little known (Christensen 1989). The lichens of Madeira have been rather neglected since the work of Tavares (1952,1958,1964), who summarized the knowledge of the flora. Sochting (1972) added Diploschistes violascens and Parmelia perlata (P. coniocarpa) from the island Deserta Grande.
