An annotated catalogue of lichens and lichenicolous fungi of the Algarve (Portugal) is presented. It is based on a literature survey as well as on many records from recent eld- work. For each taxon, references are listed according to the distribution region within the province. Three species are decribed as new, Lecania juniperi, Lichenopeltella heppiae and Waynea algarvensis.
