Bouda F. (2009): Lišejníky reliktních borů, diplomová práce, depon. in: Katedra botaniky PřFUK Praha, 89 pp

The subject of this master thesis is the lichen flora of relict pine forests with Pinus sylvestris in southern and western Bohemia (PLA and NP Šumava) in the basin of the river Otava in mesofytic and oreofytic zone. The first part of my thesis consists of interesting and problematic taxa description. Statistical analyses and evaluation of environmental parameters influence are discussed in the second part of this work. In past decades lichens of Scots pine forests have often been studied but coherent … EN Read more...

Some calcicolous lichens from Natural Park of Grazalema (Andalucía, S of Spain). Floristic resultats of research on lichens in the northern side of Sierra del Pinar (Natural Park of Grazalema, Cádiz, S of Spain) on calcareous rocks, 63 taxa are reported. Ravera S. (2001): Contribution to Mediterranean lichen flora. New or interesting epiphytic species from Morocco, Flora Mediterranea, 11: 295-302

Forty-three lichen taxa from Morocco are discussed. At least, five of them are new reports to both Rif and Central Atlas; three are new to NW Central Region, five to Gran Atlas and six to Anti Atlas; seventeen are new reports to the all country. Notes on the distribution and the ecology of the species are given, paying attention to their behaviour in the Mediterranean area. EN Read more...

Heibel E., Lumbsch H.T. & Schmitt I. (1999): Genetic variation of Usnea filipendula (Parmeliaceae) populations in western Germany investigated by RAPDs suggests reinvasion from various sources, American Journal of Botany, 86(5): 753-757

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers were characterized for 25 specimens of Usnea filipendula to evaluate the genetic diversity of populations reinvading formerly uninhabited regions in Northrhine-Westphalia due to decreasing sulfur dioxide levels. With six 10-mer randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) primers, a 66 character by 25 specimens matrix was generated. Phenetic analysis (UPGMA) showed no obvious groupings. The reinvading populations are distributed over the phenogram and … EN Read more...

Aptroot A. & Seaward M.R.D. (1999): Annotated checklist of Hongkong lichens, Tropical Bryology, 17: 57-101

An annotated checklist of the lichens of Hong Kong, based on all available literature reports and specimens, including those recently collected by the authors, is presented. In total, 261 species are reported, of which 176 are new records for Hong Kong, 132 of which are new for China, 43 are new for East Asia, and 27 are new for Asia. The lichen vegetation is mainly tropical, as is shown by the distribution patterns of the identified species: 53 species are cosmopolitan, 40 northern temperate, … EN Read more...
