Gyalecta nidarosiensis is reported for the first time for Switzerland. The species, originally described from Norway, requires Atlantic climate conditions and only rarely occurs in Central Europe. The species was observed in the framework of the restoration of the ruins of Nünegg Castle. Key words: Lichenized fungi, new record, conservation, restoration.
