In the course of the GEO-Tag der Natur 2020 in Biosphärenpark Nockberge the authors were able to observe the existence of 124 lichen taxa within two days. It is remarkable that twelve of them have so far not been registered for the Gurktaler Alpen, although three extensive recordings were carried out in the Biosphärenpark Nockberge in the past. The paper at hand complements the respective publications on lichen recordings. A list of lichens provides information on name, substrate, endangerment and location, thus giving an overview of the diversity of lichen species as well as the preferred substrate population in the research area. The association diagram depicts the associations among the species and their occurences on different subtrates. We mention the cavern beard lichen Usnea cavernosa, a rarely documented, endangered species in the Alps.
