[in Dutch with English abstract: ] Rare lichens on dikes in the Netherlands are threatened by dike reinforcements (during which siliceous rock is often replaced by concrete) and by increasing cover of mosses and vascular plants. In 2022, mosses and vascular plants were removed around several populations of rare lichens on two Dutch dikes, to ensure that those populations will not disappear in the upcoming years.
