Dryas integrifolia is in the North American Arctic a very common species occurring in
many different habitats. This paper presents a preliminary survey of the vegetation types con
taining Dryas integrifolia in the Uummannaq district, Northwest Greenland. Species richness
and biodiversity are dealt with. With inclusion of the cryptogams many vegetation types with
Dryas integrifolia show more than 60 species per relevé. The highest species numbers are
found in stands on weakly acid and more or less dry soil.
