A checklist of algae, mosses, and lichens of the area of Obergurgl (Ötztal, Tyrol). S y n o p s i s : The catalogue of algae, mosses, and lichens of the area of Obergurgl (Ötztal, Tyrol) is based mainly on a comprehensive compilation of published data and includes 832 taxa of algae, 300 taxa of mosses, and 470 taxa of lichens and lichenized fungi. The documented taxa are arranged in alphabetical order added by the localities and the references but only partially with synonyms. The nomenclature is based on the actual literature (cited for every division). Also data on collections in herbaria are given.
