Porocyphus dimorphus (Lichinaceae) hitherto only known from the Ivory Coast is reported from seepage tracks and rock pools on granitic rock in Uganda and Namibia. The lichen is unique in its dimorphic growth form. It is illustrated and compared with other members of the genus Porocyphus known from the southern hemisphere
