Descriptions are provided for four lichen species found to be common in urbanised tropical environments in Singapore and probably of importance for studying the influence of urbanisation on lichen biodiversity in the tropics. The species are: Cryptothecia granularis, Lepraria usnica, Ocellularia feigei and O. tanii
