A complete list of the collections mentioned in Ferdinand Arnold's series Lichenologische Ausflüge in Tirol is presented. The list is alphabetically arranged ace. to the locality names in the spelling used by Arnold, and includes: (1) the (often considerably deviating) modem orthography of the locality's name, (2) the locality's present political affiliation (the territory of the old Austrian County of Tirol meanwhile is split into parts belonging to the Italian provinces Belluno, Bolzano and Trento, and to the Austrian province Tirol, consisting of the parts Nordtirol and Osttirol, (3/4) bibliographic citations where the locality is mentioned in the Lichenologische Ausflüge, giving both volumes and pagination of the journal Verhandlungen der zoologisch-botanischen Gesellschaft in Wien, as well as the divergent pagination of the reprint edition (1970), (5) the altitude of the locality, (6) the geographical coordinates of the locality, (7) the date of collecting at the locality, and if necessary (8) additional geographical or historical notes.
